Abena Recycled Silver Stud Earrings
Abena Recycled Silver Stud Earrings
These round studs are inspired by Ghanaian Day Names and Outdooring Ceremony. In most African societies traditions and customs are passed down through the generations via oral history, these earrings are a physical representation of these rituals and culture. These stud earrings are part of the Akua maa collection consisting of seven individual pairs of earrings for each day of the week. Abena is the Akan female day name for Tuesday.
Each pair of earrings is consciously made and finished by hand so each one is unique. They are the perfect meaningful and personalised gift for a loved one and staple everyday earring for lovers of minimal but bold handmade jewellery.
