Award-winning jewellery
Jeweller and artist Jo Boateng handcrafts her instantly recognisable jewellery in her South London studio using traditional techniques to create modern icons. A multi-award-winner, Jo’s work has been making an impact since she first began making jewellery, with accolades including an invitation to participate in the Goldsmiths Centre Shine exhibition a De Beers Scholarship a Chroic Award, and a Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council (GCDC) Award.
GCDC 2024 Award winner
The 'Fitaa' sterling silver and glass collection, comprises of a statement necklace, bracelet, ring and drop earrings received a silver award at the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council Awards. The collection topped the 'Ready to Wear Jewellery' category, picking up the National Association of Jewellery and British Allied Trades Federation Best in Category Sponsors Award.
